Whether your project is a few days long or require months or years of activity, we develop and maintain project schedules that includes installation dates, required permits, phasing and all activity relevant to your project.
It will be our team's goal to facilitate a relationship and a greater understanding of the customer and proactively make plans to ensure that desired results are achieved.


Scheduling
The Knox Group believes the identification of the clients goals to be one of preconstruction's primary objectives.  Providing a draft schedule incorporating these goals with a list of the anticipated construction activities displays logic relationships and any potential conflicts.

Architect/Engineer Selection and Management
The preconstruction effort serves as the road map for design development decisions that relate directly to project scope, budget, schedule and constructability issues.  Selection of a qualified design team is essential.

  • Solicit Architect/Engineer proposals and selection criteria
  • Develop forms of agreement and deliverables package
  • Design team management

 


Consultants
The Knox Group approach offers a controlled, effective use of time and resources consistent with the progress required to start and complete the project on time and with the committed level of quality.  Selection of design consultants under prime agreements or as subconsultants is a decision that must be made early.
  • We develop an organizational strategy
  • Evaluate consultant responsibilities
  • Manage the subconsultants or minimize risk by assignment (IE. Security, IT, Etc.)

 


Contractor Selection and Management
Through communications, clarification, and commitment to team goals, W provide the project with control of the project's budget, schedule, and quality. This is accomplished with reviews, advice in construction means/methods and confirmation of the contractor's understanding of these goals with possible mockups, samples and investigation of existing product installations.
